Please meet Duchess
She is a 3 year old Cavalier x Toy Poodle who arrived into rescue due to the owners moving home and not being able to take the dog with them.
Duchess has been very under socialised, so she will need an owner who understands shy dogs.
Initially she is wary of strangers, but quickly understands a kind person and once settled is a very cuddly and affectionate girl.
She would suit a quiet home and cannot live with young children (due to her nervous nature).
She enjoys her walks, but has had very few in her previous home, so is currently being walked on lead only.
Duchess is quite shy round other dogs so if she were to go to live with another dog (a neutered male would be the best match), then he must also be quiet and laid back.
Duchess cannot live with cats.
She is fine to be left for short periods of time on her own and is not destructive or noisy when on her own.
A homecheck will be required and there is a minimum adoption fee of £150.
Duchess has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
