This is Cleo. An older crossbreed who is looking for a home. She looks big in photos, but is Cocker Spaniel size.
Cleo was found as a stray and had done her time in the pound so we offered her a rescue space here.
We think she has been badly treated as she used to flinch when we touched her. She now trusts us and loves a fuss, but is unsure about being picked up.
She is good with other dogs and could easily live with another dog, as long as they aren't too boisterous.
Cleo is a very good dog. She is happiest when she is with you in her comfy bed. She is clean in the house and not destructive at all. Cleo has excellent recall and although she is an older lady, she likes to run with the other dogs. She meets strange dogs well and greets all people like old friends.
At the moment, Cleo doesn't like being left for long periods which is common for dogs who have been abandoned. We are looking for a home for her where people are at home for most the day.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £150 for her. A homecheck will apply.
