Jilly was returned to rescue a few months back.
Unfortunately her happy staffie ways caused her to split her beautiful tail and it had to be amputated.
It took a while to heal, but now it is better and she is ready to find a home.
Jilly is a Collie x Staffie of 4 years old.
She arrived as a puppy after being found tied up to a bench at a youth club.
She was extremely nervous of new people and this has stayed with her. However, once bonded with her owner she is a sweet and loving girl and needs someone who will allow her that time to settle.
Any potential adopter would need to understand that she would not be keen on them initially. It takes me to be out the way for her to show her true loving nature.
She would be best suited as an only dog and must stay onlead when out for her walks and she has trouble meeting other dogs due to her nervous streak.
Jilly is clean in the house and not destructive. She can be left for short periods of time without stressing out (no more that 4 hours as is our policy).
Jilly has lived with cats but is not keen on kids, so she needs a quiet adult household only with no visiting children.
Anybody who applies to adopt Jilly should only do so if they are fully committed to her as she gets very upset at being moved about.
She has been fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
A homecheck will be required and a minimum adoption fee of £150 applies.
