Mistletoe and Wine guinea pigs REHOMED

Mistletoe and Wine are 2 male guinea pigs who have come to the rescue after their owner thought she had 2 females from a large petshop so she no longer wanted these as the children wanted girls.

it's a shame the lady didn't take them back to the pet-shop and complain that they were mis-sexed.
I wonder why her children wanted girls?
I don't know anything about guinea pigs- is there any difference in temperament or longevity or something between males and females?

I hope these two boars will find a loving home soon.
