Smokey - male lop rabbit - Surrey REHOMED

Smokey
DOB: Jan 2011

This is Smokey - a very friendly rabbit who doesn't mind being handled at all.
Unfortunately he has a sad story - he lived with his brother (both were entire) and they had a fight which lead to poor Smokey having the end of his nose bitten off. It doesn't cause him any issues and doesn't have any trouble breathing.
The previous owners then decided to get both rabbits neutered and bonded them back together, but sadly his brother passed away. As the previous owners didn't want to get another rabbit, they decided it was best for us to take Smokey so we could find him a home with a female spayed rabbit.
He was very thin on arrival and wasn't well. Our vet diagnosed Smokey with syphilis and after a lengthy course of treatment and care, Smokey is now his ideal weight and the syphilis has gone. He is NOT contagious to other rabbits,

Smokey has been a great patient and well and truly deserves a loving home as he has lots of affection to give.

He has been neutered. vaccinated. wormed and checked by our vet. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £40 for him.

We are located in Old Coulsdon, Surrey

Oh what a sad story :( ... I'm glad he copes well despite the end of his nose missing, and that the treatment in your care now means he is healthy again.
I do hope Smokey finds the loving home he so deserves. :)

Happy news :)
After a long stay in rescue whilst he went under a lot of treatment and weight gain, Smokey has gone to a new home! He was a star during his whole stay and we wish him nothing but happiness in his new life. He has a pretty new bunny girlfriend, lots of humans to look after him and lots of room to run.
Good luck special boy xx
