I run a community online and want to do a bit more fundraising to give things a bit of oomph. We use to donate to charities and rescues often but things have become a bit tricky in recent years.
What I would like to do is hold some big and exciting competitions where no prize is too big or small – every week. But what I would like to know about is how to get donated prizes. I could purchase my own but then I would have to charge an entrée fee. Ideally I want donations to help where it’s needed and this would be very hard if I am purchasing my own on a regular basis.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
