My heart has joined the thousand, for my friend stopped running today.

Re: May Pledge a Pound 2013
Thank you all so much for our wonderful donation
We really are so grateful for everyone's generosity and hard work.
We have two special needs bunnies going in for complex abscess operations with our rabbit specialist vet this week. The money will be very useful indeed to help towards this.
THANK YOU

I would like to confirm, on behalf of Celia, that Kirkby Pet Welfare has received the money, which will go as always towards the rescue's vet bill! Thank you all so much!

Re: May Pledge a Pound 2013
I thought I'd give a wee update on the donation.
Runt went if for tests due to him losing weight. The vet blood tested him and checked his teeth, his teeth were ok for a nearly 8 year old rabbit but his bloods showed raised calcium and globulins. This worried the vet as the globulins indicated a chronic inflammation. He took x- rays to rule out kidney/ bladder stones and check for any tumours. Nothing showed up so he has been treated for an inflammation but there may be a diffuse tumour there, but we just have to hope that all is well. The vet also tidied up his teeth.
He is back on Wednesday for a re-examine but he does seem brighter this week, although it could be the steroids.
Anyway, that took up the pledge a pound donation, so Runt would like to say, thank you very much.
This is Runt, the Dutch, with his previous girlfriend Xena, who we lost to kidney failure.

Hi from The Ark Animal Rescue in Lincolnshire. We'd just like to say a big thank you to everybody for our May donation. It's been paid into our bunny account at the vets to help pay for this year's vaccinations and neutering programme. With rabbits queuing up for a rescue space and many neither vaccinated or neutered when they come in, this is a big expense before we can rehome them and your donations are such a help. Thank you everybody! it makes such a difference.

Re: May Pledge a Pound 2013
We have received our donation. Thank you to all of you who help raise such fantastic amounts of money.
The money has been spent replenishing some of our ‘first aid box’. With so many poorly buns coming in recently we were running short of syringes, Fibreplex, profibre pellets and probiotics.
Thank you from all at Windwhistle.
