Christmas Pledge a Pound

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that made a donation last month, we were able to help the remaining 5 rescues on our list which means we can now move onto Christmas.

We are trying to raise enough money to give each of the rescues and sanctuaries £100 each for Christmas We know times are especially hard so we really do appreciate every donation that comes to Pledge a Pound and we know the rescues do too

We have given ourselves quite a hard task as this means we have to raise £2600.00 between now and December However, we are off to a great start due to money banked from our previous and current fundraisers

Thank you to everyone that supports Pledge a Pound - you are all so kind and generous, and because of this we have already raised over £1000 towards our Christmas fundraiser

I also have some bad news, after much soul searching Sue's Rabbit Rescue have decided to close their doors for the foreseeable future, so unfortunately they are no longer eligible to be in Pledge a Pound They have sent the following message:

The funds we have received from Pledge a Pound have certainly helped us out with vet's bills and so forth, a great idea for all rescues like us. so thanks once again for your support it certainly was an interesting period of our lives and we will never forgot the people like yourselves who cared enough to make a difference

I hope you all join me in sending best wishes to Mick and Sue and hope that one day they may feel able to open their rescue again
