Pledge a Pound

I may be speaking too soon but we are down to only ( ! ) 43 guinea pigs..as we took 88 and had 83 babies ..and then took in a few others..we are rather pleased to be down to this number

6 went to new homes today and hopefully have 3 more due out in next few days

Dare I say I remember when we didn't have any guineas for a few months at a time!

today we went up by one!
I didn't think we had enough pigs so went looking on Gumtree!
Seriously though saw this lone pig being given for free..had been on his own 2 years and homed as fine on his own
his age is unknown..4-6 years..so we may not neuter but try to bond him with a submissive boar
We've named him Humber

Well done for caring for so many guinea pigs, let's hope the numbers stay down

Named Champ and will need neutering

and even with another newbie we are down to 31 but two more due in this wheek !

We are taking in 2 more over next few days but so nice to have manageable numbers
