I remember one pair of piggies we had back in the 80s - Nyssa and Tiggy - we used to let them run around the living room in the evenings, and they loved going behind mum's first ever NEW settee.....it was velour with fringing around the bottom......only they ate all the fringing from around the back and sides

They can have hearty appetites
