if you are having difficulty uploading photos by other methods you could try tinypic.com?

so easy even I can do it and no need to register or remember a password.

click on "chose file" - then click on the photo you want to upload from your computer
then on the "resize" option chose "message board" from the dropdown options and click on it
then click "upload now"
you will usually be asked to type in a security phrase- (sometimes you have to click "play" to see what it is)
....wait while your photo uploads.....
...ignore any messages like Click here to view your picture- click to upload etc... as these are adverts....wait until you see this box
IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards then left click with your mouse on that box ( so it goes dark) then right click on your mouse and chose "copy"
now come to this thread and you can add your photo to your post by clicking on your post and then right click "paste" on your mouse
