Nervous/unhandled buns - any advice?
Just a bit of background - my three were either dumped, or born, on a building site and have never had any human interaction other than being caught to be rehomed. They are possibly around 4 or 5 months old at a guess. I'm keeping them in the kitchen at the moment - they have a 6'x4' pen with a coup...

Re: Hello!
Thanks
You're right Sue - they're named after their colours, so Llyr is Welsh for grey haired, Elffin is a Welsh name meaning white (although he/she does have brown spots as well), and Mooskit is the Shetland name given to that colour brown of sheeps fleece.

Wow, that sounds perfect! How wonderful :) I might have to keep them in for the winter then - they need to get used to people etc - and maybe think about outdoor accomodation for next spring. We are absolutely used to hay and droppings everywhere - I rear orphaned wild rabbits and our bedroom is ful...

Re: In or out?
Many thanks - it's very tempting to keep them indoors! There is a myxi risk here - large wild rabbit population, and two large still ponds. I realise it would still be possible for them to catch it indoors, but would it be less risky? Also, their breeding is half wild/half domestic, would it be fair...

In or out?
Hello I was wondering how you decide whether to keep rabbits indoors or out - does it depend on breed, age, health? Or do you do a bit of both, say out in summer and in for winter? I have 3 in the kitchen at the moment - it was meant to be temporary while we all got to know each other (they haven't ...

Hello!
Just saying a quick hello - I've been browsing this forum for a few weeks now, having been told about it by lovely Apache on here. I'm housekeeper to three lovely rabbits, they are domestic x wild and still quite young. I will probably have loads of questions...! ;;) They are currently living in the...
