Tragically we lost permanent resident & sponsor bunny, Darius last month.
Having taken in 27 rabbits the waiting list is starting to feel a bit less overwhelming & rehoming is slowly picking up too

June has been an overwhelming month for us with just two out of almost two hundred adoption enquiries being approved for rehoming.

We currently have 95 rabbits on the waiting list but rehomed just 5 & were only able to take in 7 due to lack of space & funds.

We’d like to enter Yasmin from Rabbit Residence Rescue. So far this year we’ve rehomed 82 rabbits & taken in 84 rabbits in need, including 11 half wild babies born to two stray does brought into the rescue.

Sadly we said goodbye to sponsor bunny, Pod this month after her mobility & respiratory issues became unmanageable despite treatment

Darla has some neurological issues and poor eyesight potentially from a brain injury (she is under investigation by our vets. As a result of these issues she’s a wobbly little bunny but so unbelievably happy...

Heartbreakingly we lost two older foes who came to us unspayed to uterine cancer which had spread to other organs this month. Unnecessary deaths, easily prevented by neutering female rabbits.
